Michael Goldsworthy

Dr Michael Goldsworthy is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ChronoLogic and is also CEO and founder of ChronoLogic’s parent company, Silex Systems Ltd (ASX: SLX) based in Sydney.

Michael has a technical background in nuclear and laser physics and has been the driving force behind the formation and growth of the Silex Group - one of Australia’s premier technology companies.

Michael received his PhD in Physics in 1988 from the University of New South Wales, where he served briefly as a member of the University’s academic staff before starting up Silex. He was involved in a number of laser-related research projects while at the University. In 1997, Michael was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Physics.

Peter Foster

 

Dr Peter Graham Foster BSc (Hons), PhD
Founder / CTO

Dr Peter Foster is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of ChronoLogic.  He co-founded the company and has been working on the development of the company’s innovative USB-inSync™ distributed synchronization and timing technology (of which he is the co-inventor) since 2001.

In addition to founding the company and leading the development of its USB-inSync™ platform, Peter has played a key role in securing financial support for development activities including Australian Federal Government Grant funding. Peter provides the vision, technology and company direction for ChronoLogic and plays a key role in all company activities.

Peter received his PhD in Physics from the University of Adelaide.  He has held positions of Senior Laser Physicist at Norseld Pty. Ltd, an Australian medical laser manufacturer, as well as Guest Scientist at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) in 1998 prior to founding ChronoLogic.  In 1998 he was instrumental in securing funding support for a four nation research effort between universities in Germany, Italy, Poland and Bulgaria under the NATO Science for Peace Programme.  Peter has been involved in developing a number of laser-related material processing, medical and scientific devices and applications spanning University, Government Laboratory (ATZ-EVUS in Germany) and private company environments.

Brian Noble

 

Brian Noble
Vice President – Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Brian Noble has numerous responsibilities within ChronoLogic. These include manufacturing, quality assurance, OHS&W, logistics and administration management.

Brian is also the link between technology concept and product development, coordinating the transition of new products into manufacturing.

Brian has held management positions for engineering and manufacturing corporations for more than two decades including the design and development of scientific and medical instrumentation, robotics and RFID products. He has worked for Medtronic (in USA), Scantech, Gemplus and Advanced Rapid Robotic Manufacturing before joining ChronoLogic.

He lived and worked in the USA for 7 years and has travelled extensively to more than 30 countries commissioning instrumentation and training clients.

Initially trained as an Instrument Fitter in the Royal Australian Air Force, Brian also gained certification in Electronics & Communications.
